Iced tea is a beloved summer drink in the U.S, and evokes images of breezy porches, fireflies, and lounging by the pool.
Try our recipe for homemade ginger and honey iced tea. Brew it and pop it in the fridge a few hours in advance, and you’ll be able to enjoy iced tea the good old-fashioned way.
2 cups of water
8 cups of chilled water
3 black tea bags
1 tablespoon of grated ginger
½ cup of Manuka Honey
Bring two cups of water to the boil in a saucepan, then add the teabags and simmer for one minute. Remove from heat and allow tea to brew for 15 minutes before removing the tea bags. Stir in the honey and ginger then add the 8 cups of cold water. Slice the lemons into wedges and add. Refrigerate for an hour or so to let the flavors steep, then serve.
